Burma Cyclone Relief Photos - Introduction

On May 22, relief workers accompanied by several monks , went to Bogalay, carrying supplies, some sent by Young Buddhist Students Literacy Mission and some purchased with money from the Mission, to distribute to the victims of Cyclone Nargis. Bogolay was one of the disticts hit the hardest by the cyclone. All of the workers stayed there overnight. These are the first photos they sent out. We will post more photos as we receive them.

(All names have been deleted because the military has begun harassing relief workers as they try to enter the Delta. They have also begun extorting money. A little secrecy and discretion are necessary.)
