Volunteers

Buddhist Relief Mission and Burmese Relief Center--USA often receive requests from people interested in giving of themselves. We welcome volunteers! There is a lot of work to be done, and there is a need for all sorts of people with all kinds of skills. Neither BRM nor BRC-USA, however, can offer any salary or material support. Our organizations cannot hire or directly place personnel in the field. Nevertheless, we are in touch with an exciting variety of projects and can suggest places and programs where you might serve as teacher, nurse, proofreader, consultant, computer advisor, or in almost any other capacity imaginable. Length of service could be from two weeks to several years. In some situations you might be offered room and board, and, in a rare instance, a subsistence salary. The possibilities are endless if you are willing to adapt to the situation you find.

If you have the time and energy and would like to serve as a volunteer, we would be happy to help you try to find the right place for your talents and energy.
