It has been raining continuously almost everyday during the last week. I have been trying to take a few photographs of the reconstruction of the Vihara, but, due to incessant rain, the work has been progressing slowly. Nevertheless, we have managed to provide a temporary residential facility to the bhikkhus and samaneras for the upcoming three-month Vassa (Rains retreat). Depending on the rain and our funding, we will continue reconstructing permanent or semi-permanent buildings. Here are a few photos of construction work on the temporary residence halls for the samaneras. This is due to your kind donations.
